The KTM 450 SX-F (Carb model) tank has a capacity of 3.1 gallons, 1.1 gallons larger than the stock tank.

This tank was developed with input from the Factory KTM race team and designed to hold the extra capacity while maintaining a feel near that of the stock tank. In fact, the IMS KTM 450 SX-F tank was used by Factory KTM's Kurt Caselli to win the first round of the 2011 WORCS Championship in Taft, CA even before it was released.
